IBM Japan grabs $115 million IT deal

IBM Japan has won a 10-year, $115 million (15 billion yen) outsourcing contract from Japan's Nissay Dowa General Insurance. An IBM Japan representative said the deal only "covers services, minus hardware and software." IBM Japan has bagged several multimillion-dollar IT services contracts. Last September, it clinched a $579 million contract from Kobe Steel.
