Hilarious Carrie Fisher shows how to do a Star Wars hype interview

Carrie Fisher carries the day again.
When you've done all this before, you have to find new ways to get through it.
For the former Princess, now General Leia hype interviews for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which opens December 18, are now an art form.
On Friday, she appeared on ABC's "Good Morning America" and offered a gamut of giggles.
"I wouldn't be anywhere else at this hour, except on TV," Fisher began.
She explained that she brought along her Twitter-famous dog Gary, whose tongue hangs out to one side.
Why bring a dog? Because his tongue's pinkness matched the color of Fisher's sweater.
As to playing General Leia? "Ridiculous. And I mean that in a very good way," she said.
"I got in character and I've never gotten out again," she added.
She explained that when members of the public call out to her with "Princess Leia!" she's tries "not to respond, as an adult."
As my colleague Bonnie Burton mused, Leia looks exactly as she should in the movie trailers. Not airbrushed, but instead someone who's lived through a lot.
This seems true of Fisher too. Even during the hypiest parts of the Star Wars hype, she's going to be herself, someone who's seen it all and then a little more -- and can still offer mordant humor.
In this, she's similar to Harrison Ford, who took the opportunity of telling Jimmy Fallon last week that he did the movie because, "I got paid."
As for Gary, Fisher said he was "bored as hell."
