It's iPhone Day! Yes, the Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are on sale around the world, and it just wouldn't be Apple without a good story about queuing. This year saw a slightly fresh take on the experience with one particularly enterprising individual sending along a telepresence robot to mind her spot and buy the product. It may have been a media and it may have required more human involvement than just standing in line would have, but really, isn't that the future in a nutshell?

A man with an eye on the future and a desire to distance himself from nuts of all forms, shelled or otherwise, is our new PM Malcolm Turnbull. The man is no stranger to either technology nor making some 'serious bank' from technology and his Cabinet reshuffle involved a significant commitment to science and tech and it's been applauded by the Aussie start up community.
