Gilian Technologies announced Wednesday it raised a $5 million third round of funding. Previous investors Steamboat Ventures, Ascend Technology Ventures, Deutsche Bank AG, Evergreen Partners and Pitango Venture Capital contributed to this latest round. The Redwood City, Calif.-based company has raised a total of $30 million. Gilian Technologies provides Web applications and content security.
