Garage.com changes name

Garage.com has changed its name to Garage Technology Ventures and named a new vice president of venture finance. Gideon Marks, who previously worked in Garage's Israel office as a managing director, will now handle identifying and funding technology companies in such sectors as telecommunications, semiconductors, infrastructure software and wireless. Ran Arad, Garage's business development director, will handle the Israel venture investments from the company's Herzelia, Israel, office.
