Tomorrow Daily 141: A futuristic violin... or a secret alien weapon?
On today's show, we're discussing first-person sports TV, a silicone chip with heart muscle in the middle and a wild 3D-printed violin you've got to see to believe.
We should be reeling from the Apple Event yesterday, but we're pumped up and ready to tell you all about some really neat stuff today. Firstly, there's a heart chip that might help scientists completely eliminate the need for drug testing on animals -- this would also cut the cost of developing those drugs. Then there's a company hoping to bring incognito, first-person sports cameras into the mainstream, which might change the way we watch professional sports. And finally, there's a 3D-printed violin that could double as a weapon in the next "Star Trek" film.
It's also time for a batch of new releases today, so get your wallets ready!
