Fujitsu unveils tablet PC

Fujitsu PC has introduced the Stylistic 3500, a tablet-shaped PC the Japanese computer maker hopes will appeal to a broader audience than the factory workers and delivery companies that have typically used the devices. The unit, which is essentially a laptop computer sans keyboard, comes with a 500MHz Intel Celeron processor, 15GB hard drive and 256MB of memory. The Stylistic 3500, which starts at $3,899, also features a 10.4-inch active-matrix display that uses a reflective technology to make it easier to view in sunlight. The 3.2-pound unit measures 1.1 inches thick, 11 inches long and 8.5 inches wide. A 56kbps modem and Ethernet port are included.
