Forefield finds $2.5 million in funding

Forefield announced Monday it received a $2.5 million third round of funding. Previous investors Regent Capital Management, Ascent Venture Capital and North Hill Ventures contributed to this round. The Marlboro, Mass.-based company has raised a total of $13 million. Forefield develops software for online communication between financial institutions and their clients.
