Final versions of tax programs due

Intuit is preparing to ship the final 1995 versions of its TurboTax and MacInTax tax preparation programs, due in stores next week. Users can get online tax information at Intuit's Web site.

Intuit is preparing to ship the final 1995 versions of its TurboTax and MacInTax tax preparation programs, due in stores next week.

The company has announced that the programs for individual filing will retail for between $35 and $40 for the standard edition and around $50 for the deluxe multimedia version. The business versions of TurboTax and MacInTax will sell for $69.95.

Intuit says the software will include the Netscape Navigator browser, which will allow users to access tax information and reference material on the Internet.
