Auction software company FairMarket named Nanda Krish as its interim chief executive Friday, effective immediately. Krish, who already served as a member of the board of directors of the Woburn, Mass.-based company, replaces Eileen Rudden, who resigned in May.
FairMarket will continue to search for a permanent replacement for Rudden as well as for other open positions, Krish said. The company's vice president of corporate development, Bryan Semple, for instance, resigned last month. Janet Smith, FairMarket's interim president since Rudden's departure, will lose that title but will continue to be the company's chief financial officer, Krish said.
