Exp.com trims staff by a quarter

Online advice site Exp.com on Monday laid off 25 employees, or more than 25 percent of its work force, to move toward profitability, the company said in a statement. Including an earlier round of layoffs in December, Menlo Park, Calif.-based Exp has now laid off nearly 40 percent of its staff. Exp is backed by struggling Internet incubator CMGI.
