Embedded Linux version shares memory

Lineo, a company pushing the Linux operating system into a host of network routers, set-top boxes and other "embedded" computing devices, began selling software for gadgets that need to share the same memory. The software, Embedix Reflective Memory, is useful for situations such as factory floors, where many devices use the same memory. The product costs $1,500 to license with a $149 royalty per node.
