EDS makes trio of deals

Electronic Data Systems said Friday that it has struck three separate deals to provide technology services to clients in the United States and Latin America. The new contracts are with Coca-Cola FEMSA, a Latin America bottling company; the Dana Corporation, based in Toledo, Ohio; and the state of California's Welfare Client Data System Consortium. Plano, Texas-based EDS provides back-end services, tools and operations for companies, including desktop computing, handheld terminals and host networks. Separately, EDS announced that it hired Paula Kruger as general manager of its customer relationship management service line. Kruger is a former executive at Excel Communications.
