eBay, Dr Pepper/Seven Up forge alliance

eBay has signed a marketing deal with Dr Pepper/Seven Up that will involve an extended loyalty program and advertising, the companies said. Starting in June, consumers who buy specially marked Dr. Pepper/Seven Up products, including 7 UP, Sunkist Orange Soda, a new beverage called dnL, A&W Root Beer and Canada Dry, will get codes that can be redeemed for points on www.LiquidLoot.com.

The points can be used to bid on prizes at eBay, such as Dr Pepper/Seven Up merchandise, CDs, concert tickets and other prizes.
