Diamondbacks show how to do Twitter when everything's going wrong
Technically Incorrect: On Sunday, the Arizona baseball team was losing heavily. Its Twitter feed, however, won handsomely.

It's hard when you have a lot of Twitter followers and you're losing.
This is something contemporary politicians are struggling with every day.
Thankfully, they have baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks to show them tweeting brilliance.
On Sunday, the Diamondbacks were awful. Their star starting pitcher Zack Greinke was being heaved by Boston hitters all over Massachusetts.
How was the Diamondback's Twitter team supposed to explain that the team was losing 16-1 after a mere five innings?
Should you attempt some lame humor about the Boston Tea Party? Should you attempt to ignore the score and laud the one run notched? Should you simply talk about something entirely unrelated, such as the Olympics?
The Diamondbacks' social media team chose none of the above.
They posted, well, look at the picture.
Just admire the sheer lateral thinking that led to such a dry, amusing tweet, one that must have tickled the irony muscles of each of the team's 321,000 Twitter followers. (Well, maybe not all of them.)
An hour later, the Twitter feed did offer the final score -- a 16-2 loss.
By that time, though, the feed was likely more popular than the team. So far the "technical difficulties" post has been liked almost 1,300 times and retweeted almost 1,000. Those are big numbers for the D-backs Twitter feed.
Tonight, the Diamondbacks hosts the Mets. I wonder what witticisms the social team is preparing.
