update European antitrust regulators on Monday seemed to have set a new deadline for a decision in their review of Oracle's hostile takeover bid for rival business software maker PeopleSoft. According to a notice on its Web site Monday, the European Commission was to make a decision by April 21. But on Tuesday, that notice had been pulled, and a commission representative said no date had yet been set.

Earlier this month, the commission suspended its investigation into the deal, as it awaited additional information from Oracle. Previously, the commission was set to make a decision by March 30.
