Online service provider The Well is sponsoring a New Year's Eve event to help spread Internet awareness to those outside cyberspace.
Cyberfoo: First Night in Cyberspace will feature public venues in Rome, Boston, New York, and other cities where people can go to experience online interaction firsthand. The event will feature links to chat on the Well, Echo, and several Usenet newsgroups.
Participation in the Cyberfoo is not limited to Well subscribers. The event is open to anyone from either a public venue or from home.
