CyberCash, the maker of a namesake secure digital cash payment service, today announced the availability of Mac Wallet for Macintosh users.

The free client software gives Mac users the same access to CyberCash online payment services as Windows users. The software mimics a real wallet and supports multiple credit cards.

When a customer clicks on a Pay icon while shopping online, the CyberCash software on the merchant's server kicks in and sends a message to the Wallet software. The software is password-protected and requires System 7.1 and at least 3MB of free hard disk space and 8MB of RAM.
