Contract manufacturer Celestica makes executive moves

Celestica has named Chief Executive Eugene Polistuk chairman of the board as well, the contract manufacturer said. At the same time, Marvin McGee was promoted from executive vice president of worldwide operations to president and chief operating officer. Celistica, which builds computers and other electronic equipment for name-brand companies, has more than 29,000 employees at 34 manufacturing and design plants in numerous countries. It's one of the largest contract manufacturers, competing with companies such as Solectron, SCI Systems and Flextronics.
