Consultancy Operon acquires eMarket

E-business consulting company Operon Partners acquired eMarket Holdings, a metrics and strategy company founded by former Gartner executives. Operon Partners will use eMarket to provide customers with the ability to use a Web-based measurement tool that allows them to gather business data for such things as assessing customer satisfaction and competitive positioning. eMarket's founders include David Taylor, former Gartner e-business applications group manager; Alyse Terhune, former e-commerce manager; and Myron Kerstetter, former U.S. and Europe research team manager. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
