Computer Sciences offers information security

Responding to increased demand by companies that are working to secure and protect their data, Computer Sciences has launched its own global information security division. The El Segundo, Calif.-based company said the new unit will provide services such as security consulting, integration, evaluation and assessment, operations and training. Joe Stafford has been named vice president of the new division. A longtime Computer Sciences employee, Stafford most recently served as vice president of the information security and operations center in the company's defense group. The professional services giant is dedicating more than 600 information security experts to support clients in Europe, North America, Australia, Africa and Asia.
