Borland to offer development package

Borland will soon offer a new package of software-development tools for designing, building and running Windows-based applications. The new suite--called Borland Enterprise Studio for Windows--integrates a handful of products, including the Borland Delphi 6 software-development tool and the Borland Enterprise Server for running Web-based software. The package also includes a tool by Rational Software that allows developers to collaborate on projects, and two "modeling" tools by Rational and BoldSoft that let developers create graphic representations of software code. The product will be available later in January. Pricing has not been announced.
