BigFix closes $8 million round

BigFix has raised $8 million in a second round of funding led by Levensohn Capital. Previous investors St. Paul Venture Capital and Selby Venture Partners also participated in the latest round, which brings the company's total funding to $18 million. . Emeryville, Calif.-based BigFix also named Levensohn Managing Director Keith Benjamin to its board. The company develops software designed to automatically apply fixes to software bugs and security holes when problems are detected.
