Auxora adds to first round

Optical components maker Auxora announced that it added an additional $3 million to its first round. The Baldwin Park, Calif.-based company plans to use the new funding to further expand its research and development efforts and bring its products to market this year. Rustic Canyon Ventures led the extra funding along with contributions from Intel Capital and individual investors. Rustic Canyon and Intel pitched in $11.7 million with other investors to Auxora's initial first round in September 2000.
