Autodesk combines design software
Design-software publisher Autodesk announced the release Wednesday of Autodesk Inventor Series, which combines applications for 2D and 3D design. The package will allow engineers, designers and other professionals using Autodesk's Mechanical Desktop application for 2D design to gradually move up to 3D design using Inventor 3D software, the company said.
