Apple may only launch an iPhone 4S

A radically redesigned iPhone won't be popping up today, according to a Next Web report. If correct, we'll just see some upgrades in a similar design.

Apple is expected to show off an upgraded version of its iPhone 4, rather than a radical redesign, according to The Next Web.

Will this be the iPhone 4S? Apple

The iPhone 4S will feature a dual-core A5 processor, an 8-megapixel camera, more definitive GPS features, and 1 gigabyte of RAM. Also packed into the phone is Assistant, a voice control feature powered by Nuance's speech-to-text dictation. What it won't have is a new design, which will likely disappoint consumers looking for a major upgrade.

The photos of the iPhone 5 floating around were of a prototype of a future device that won't be available any time soon, the Web site reported.

Apple plans to unveil the phone at its "Let's Talk iPhone" event at 10 a.m. PT today. Stay tuned for more information.
