Apple for sale? Heck if we know

Apple Computer is in play again, according to the latest news reports. We figured we'd slap a headline lest you think we are asleep at the wheel. But the fact is we don't have a clue as to when or if this is actually going to become a reality.

You see, only Apple's new CEO, Gil Amelio, and very few of his close lieutenants would know for sure, but they haven't bothered to contact us. Of course, the specter of an SEC investigation would prevent Amelio and his gang from leaking the news, even if they were so inclined. Ditto for the potential buyers.
