The Associated Press is offering recent online satellite images of New Orleans that let viewers zoom in on streets and neighborhoods damaged by Katrina, the company said Friday.

The high-resolution images, at 2.4 meters per pixel, are supplied by a geospacial data company called DigitalGlobe. The initial images were taken Wednesday morning. The news service said it will update them as new images become available.
