Baking soda gets your clothes fresh and clean.

We've all been there. You're out of laundry detergent, you need to do a load and going to the store just isn't in the cards. You instinctively reach for the dishwashing liquid on the kitchen sink because, hey, it's sudsy right? Put that bottle down! Even a little dishwashing liquid can make a high-efficiency washer overflow with bubbles.

Instead, go to your fridge and pull out your trusty box of baking soda. Just one cup of baking soda will get your load fresh and clean. Bypass the soap dispenser on your machine and just throw it in with your clothes.

If you have sensitive skin, all the better. Baking soda doesn't have additives that can cause itchiness or breakouts.
