Woot regularly offers electronics and other goods for low prices, sometimes brand-new, other times refurbished. But its refurb products are "tested and certified to look and work like new," per Woot (which has been a division of Amazon since 2010). So if you don't mind going the used route and are in the market for some added security, check out this deal at Woot on Amazon Ring alarm systems and sensors.

You can get two second-gen Ring sensors for $30 or an entire Ring alarm system for $90.

The sensors can be added to an existing system to expand your safety and security on additional doors and windows. You'll get instant mobile alerts when they open. These sensors are smaller to let you put them in a wider range of places and they're easy to install.

The alarm system includes one base station, one keypad, one contact sensor, one motion detector and one range extender. It's great for condos or apartments. You can easily set up the system by connecting to Wi-Fi via the Ring app, where you'll receive notifications when the system is triggered.

Just keep two things in mind before purchasing. First, be aware of Ring's relationship with local police departments, and adjust your video sharing settings accordingly. And note that professional monitoring for the alarm systems requires an additional subscription fee.
