Missing calls? Maybe the ringtone or vibration on your phone doesn't cut it. Well, the gadget-mongers at Japan's Thanko have a new bracelet that not only vibrates when someone's calling--it displays their number.
The Bluetooth Bracelet is an improvement on the BluAlert Vibrating Bluetooth Wristband. The slender LCD panel displays the time, serving as a watch, as well as the caller's number when you get a call.
It sits right on your wrist, so you'll feel the vibration through your skin and bones if your phone is in your briefcase or pocket. It's more discrete than a headset, though it lacks a microphone that would allow you to look like a Secret Service agent.
A neat bonus function is that the bracelet will vibrate if you forget your phone somewhere and get more than 33 feet away from it.
Thanko's bracelet comes in two versions--with the LCD panel (1.3 ounces, about $44), and without the LCD panel but with an LED (0.8 ounce, about $33). Both take about 3 hours to charge and run for about 60 hours.
