Time Warner to consider Google, Microsoft as partners
A report in the Financial Times says Time Warner's board will meet on Thursday to discuss whether to form a joint venture with Microsoft or sell a stake in America Online to Google. Citing unnamed sources, the paper said "serious discussions" continue with AOL rivals Google and Microsoft, but that talks with Yahoo have ended. A board decision isn't expected for a few weeks, the report said.
