Sprint announces LG LX290

Sprint has just announced the LG LX290, a simple slider handset that features a 1.3-megapixel camera; text and multimedia messaging; GPS with Sprint Navigation; mobile e-mail; and more.

It measures 4.09 inches long by 1.94 inches wide by 0.63 inch thick, has a 1.33-inch by 1.77-inch TFT display, and has four shortcut keys dedicated to texting, e-mail, personal calendar, and alarm. The LG LX290 is quite affordable at only $29.99 with a new two-year agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate. It is available now on Sprint.com.
