Rick Grimes takes on Deadpool in 'The Walking Deadpool' parody

A fan-made parody trailer gives us a taste of what it would look like if Rick Grimes from "The Walking Dead" squared off against the foul-mouthed mercenary Deadpool.

It's the sheriff versus the Merc with a Mouth in this fan-made parody trailer for "The Walking Deadpool," a fictional TV offering that mashes together "The Walking Dead" TV show with the upcoming "Deadpool" movie.

The video, posted Monday, was created by YouTube filmmaker David Elmaleh, who created a mashup of a few weeks ago. The clip uses footage from the recently released NSFW and various seasons of AMC's hit zombie show "The Walking Dead," including the trailer for Season 6, and mashes them together to create a pretty compelling trailer for a fictional crossover show.

"Your way is going to destroy this place," Rick says to a murderous Deadpool. "It's going to get people killed. It's already gotten people killed, and I'm not going to stand by and just let it happen."

Then, pretty much on cue, Rick fires his revolver, ripping a hole through Deadpool's arm, and the epic battle between the two men breaks out. Watch the madness unfold in the clip below.

AMC's "The Walking Dead" premieres on October 11 in the US, and October 12 in the UK and Australia.

"Deadpool" will land in UK theaters on February 5, 2016, followed by Australia on February 11 and the US on February 12.

Warning: While not quite as over the top as the NSFW "Deadpool" trailer, the clip below has brief bits of graphic violence and cursing. Click play at your own discretion.
