The precogs are back in new 'Minority Report' TV trailer

Fox releases a new trailer for "Minority Report," an upcoming show that follows a now-freed precog 10 years after the events of the 2002 movie of the same name.

Fox released a trailer on Monday for its upcoming TV series "Minority Report," which will take us back to a futuristic Washington D.C.

The series, which is set 10 years after the events of the 2002 movie of the same name, will follow Dash (Stark Sands), one of the three precogs freed at the end of the Steven Spielberg film.

Though the Precrime program shut down in 2055, Dash still sees things before they happen, but try as he might, he can't seem to stop the crimes on his own. So he partners with the "brash but shrewd" police detective Lara Vega (Meagan Good) to try to stop the murders he sees in his visions.

The trailer reveals a few things about the plot, specifically that Dash's visions only reveal what happens, and that his brother Arthur (also played by Sands) is the one who gets the names of the victim and perpetrator. Lara and Dash must track down Arthur if they ever hope to stop the crimes from happening, all while escaping those who would exploit their abilities.

Sounds intriguing. Watch the trailer for yourself above, then get ready to watch the precogs try to stop crime once more when "Minority Report" debuts on Fox in the fall of 2015.
