Lance Armstrong is hopping on the podcasting bandwagon with an online audio journal of his attempt at a seventh consecutive Tour de France victory next month.

The cycling god plans to give updates from the bike race throughout the event, which runs July 2 to July 24. The daily programs will be available to download for free at sirius.com/lance.

Sirius Satellite Radio subscribers can also listen to the program, "Lance in France: Off The Bike and On The Mic," over the air.

"Armstrong will give his perspective in his own words as he proceeds through the final race of his legendary career," Sirius said, noting that Armstrong has announced he will retire after this Tour.

Other celebrity podcasters include comedian and political commentator Al Franken, heiress Paris Hilton, former MTV video jockey Adam Curry, and John Kerry running mate John Edwards.
