Congrats to Herbert A. of Westfield, N.J., for winning the entire DC Comics' Villains Months series with 3D covers in last week's giveaway. Here at Crave, we've been taking a look at multipurpose gadgets the last couple of weeks, and this week's prize fits right in.
Accessory maker Kanex is offering up one of its new Multi Sync Keyboards, which can pair up to four devices. So, for example, you can reply to a text on your smartphone, take notes on your tablet, and leave a CNET reader comment on your laptop, all from the same keyboard.
Just plug the full-size wireless peripheral into a Mac or PC using the included Micro-USB cable, pair the additional three devices via Bluetooth, and toggle among gadgets with the touch of a button.
While Kanex bills itself as a provider of Apple and iOS accessories -- and the Multi Sync Keyboard has a distinctly Mac-like aesthetic that includes an iDevice home button where the function button usually lives -- the product will work with any Bluetooth 3.0-enabled computer or mobile device (note that some hot keys won't function on Windows and Android devices).
The keyboard also comes with an adjustable fold-up smartphone/tablet stand for convenient typing and viewing.
