I was amazed at Opera’s impressive scores, both the beta and stable version, although Chrome awesome minimalist design as kept me firmly rooted in the Chrome camp.

Dear Buzz Crew,

I think that this whole Lady Gaga brings down Amazon fiasco could teach the record companies a great lesson: people buy music when it’s cheap! Obviously, the $0.99 price tag sold many people on the album that wouldn’t have otherwise bought it. I wouldn’t have bought the entire album anyways – just a song or two. While $0.99 might be a bit too cheap, I can see $2 to $4 album prices (near) solving the piracy issue and dramatically boost sales.

What’s up Buzz Crew,
I’m going to get straight to the point, the whole thing about about Apple not helping mac users who have mal ware is total BS and flat out pisses me off. You see I am a former Apple fan boy who finally saw the light a couple of months ago and let me tell you this incident just reassures me that I made the right decision, and if any one from Apple is listening to the podcast when/if you guys read this, let me just say to that/those people, If you guys TRULY pride yourselves on customer satisfaction PROVE IT!
P.S. Molly I think its time you switch sides again and sell that potentially mal ware infected mac of yours, oh wait I’m crazy for writing this whole email, I forgot macs don’t get that stuff, silly me!

As you’re no doubt aware by now, Apple is planning a patch to fix MacDefender and has a guide to help get rid of it (which thankfully looks easy):

All the hue and cry about Apple not supporting Mac users was forgetting how Apple usually handles these things: it remains silent until it thinks it has a definitive answer, and then provides one. It did that with Lodsys; it said nothing for a week but dropped the hammer when it knew it could give a real solution, not vague promises. If you’re going to level criticism against Apple, it’s that security issues demand saying something, even if it’s just “”we’re looking into it.”" Giving phone reps a vague “”try this”" when you don’t know it’ll work is no real solution — I should know, I worked Internet tech support for four years!
