CNET Update: Apple television confirmed by Foxconn chief

2:52 /

Foxconn confirms there is an Apple television, the makers of Angry Birds have a new game franchise, and you may be able to pay Facebook to promote your status update.

Today we are Facebook (??) sell out. We're finding a new route and building a new game addiction. I'm Bridget Carey and this is your CNET update. Would you pay $2 to get your Facebook status message seen by more people. Facebook is testing out a new feature which was first discovered by a Facebook user in New Zealand. Facebook ask him if he want it to pay a small fee to guarantee that more friends would see his post and he could pay via Credit Card or PayPal. Facebook has confirmed that yes it is a feature that it's testing with different price ranges. So tell me, what do you think about this. Would you pay a fee?. Recorder short video on (??). Your comments can make on the show and don't worry you won't have to pay to be heard. The Foxconn factory for Apple products is making space and preparing to build the much anticipated Apple TV set. The (??) Foxconn still (??) in a news conference. But he said (??) and manufacturing has not yet begun. So, don't count on it being anytime soon, of course Apple hasn't said a (??) about this television. But, rumor suggest it will have a (??), build in camera for face time and access to the app store. And then other Apple news. There speculation that Apple will eliminate Google maps in IOS 6 and replace it with it's mapping system. This is according to a report from 9 to 5 Mac. (??) you seen is what the (Hover Dam?) could look like on Apple's Mapping Software. The video is taking from one of the mapping companies Apple requires. And in other news we're watching...expect Microsoft to launch a promotion in June for this kinda Windows 8 upgrade to anyone buying a Windows 7 computer. Microsoft usually does this types of promotions right before releasing a new operating system. But it might not be a free upgrade depending on the version of Windows. Starting Wednesday the United States Post Office won't allow you to mail Tablets, Smart Phones, Laptops and any other electronic with a Lithium Ion Battery to an overseas destination it's because Lithium Ion is personally (compostable?) but this will maybe change in January. The action role playing game Diablo 3 has become the most pre-ordered PC game ever on Amazon beating out other popular titles from Blizzard like World of Warcraft (??). The game hit stores on Tuesday. The creator of Angry Birds is launching a brand new game series this summer called Amazing Alex. Players will control a boy named Alex who enjoys building things. And the creator say there's an education element about it. Angry Birds just announced it reach $1 Billion. So I wonder if Alex can stack up. That's your tech news update for today. Stay updated on all the latest news at CNET.com and from our studios in New York, I'm Bridget Carey.
