The latest iPhones include flashy features like the Dynamic Island, faster processors and upgraded cameras. The iPhone 15 is powered by the A16 Bionic chip, for rapid speeds and increased efficiency over the previous year's model. The iPhone 15 Pro runs on Apple's A17 Pro chip for even more powerful performance. Other notable changes include a move to USB-C charging, brighter displays and upgraded ultrawideband capabilities. The iPhone 15 Pro also has a customizable action button and a titanium chassis, and there's a new periscope-style telephoto lens on the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Best iPhone 15 deals

Although there are no direct discounts on any of the iPhone 15 series devices, Apple's trade-in program is offering as much as $630 off when you hand over your old device. Specifically, you can get up to $170 or more when trading in an iPhone 11 or higher. The iPhone Upgrade Program or Apple Card financing (and cashback) are also options, and you can save even more when you opt to sign up with a carrier.

Right now, carrier deals through Apple include paying as little as zero dollars with trade-in for either Verizon or T-Mobile and as little as $2.75 a month for AT&T customers. You can get up to $830 in trade-in credit (paid in bill credits over 36 months) on select carrier deals, so that gets you the iPhone 15 for free or the 15 Plus for $70.

Order one of the latest iPhones from Walmart and you can snag the biggest trade-in discount, with as much as $1,200 off the Pro Max models. There is an instant savings of $200 on the Pro Max if you buy a Verizon or AT&T model on a qualifying installment plan. The remaining savings of up to $1,000 are available when you trade in a device. Note that Walmart's list prices are $50 above Apple's retail prices.

Verizon customers adding a new line on an Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plan can save up to $830 on the base iPhone 15, which nets you the phone for free, or $750 on the iPhone 15 Plus which drops it down as low as $5 a month. A similar deal applies to the iPhone 15 Pro, with $820 off with a new line, or $840 off the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

If you've got an eligible phone to trade in, you can get up to $830 off the iPhone 15 series with a new line or an upgrade.

A free 65-inch 4K Amazon Fire TV is also available for those getting their iPhone 15 on a new line before July 3.

AT&T customers on a qualifying unlimited plan can save up to $700 on the iPhone 15 or up to $1,000 on the 15 Pro and Pro Max with an eligible trade-in and by opting for an installment plan. Even old and damaged phones with a trade-in value of just $35 or more will net you some trade-in savings, so you might be surprised at what that cracked iPhone in your drawer is worth. The discount is applied in the form of bill credits over 36 months, and you'll have to pay the remaining balance if you cancel your service before then.

AT&T is also offering a bundle for iPhone 15 buyers with the ninth-gen iPad and second-gen Apple Watch SE available for $1 a month each when you get each on a new line alongside your iPhone 15 purchase.

Don't have a phone to hand over? You can still save big if you get an iPhone 15 Plus on an installment plan and pick or upgrade to an unlimited plan. It's for a 36-month contract, but it's not a bad deal for $6 a month and doesn't require a trade-in.

T-Mobile is offering quite a few different ways to save on the iPhone 15 series if you've got an old phone to trade in. You can save up to $1,000 on a Go5G Next plan, $830 with trade on Go5G Plus or Next, $300 on a Go5G, Magenta or One rate plan or $200 if you're on a different qualifying service plan.

Verizon customers can save up to $830 on the iPhone 15 series with a trade-in through Best Buy as long as they have or switch to a qualifying unlimited plan. AT&T customers can save up to $700 in trade-in, plus an extra $100 off the price of any of the iPhone 15 series phones.

Right now Best Buy is offering a free pair of AirPods (2nd gen) with the purchase of any iPhone 15 series model except the Pro Max.

If you want the standard iPhone 15, you can get it for free when you sign up for Boost Infinite's Infinite Access plan at $60 a month. It's similar to Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program in that you can upgrade to the newest iPhone each year, but it rolls in unlimited talk, text and 5G data, plus 5GB of data while roaming in Mexico and Canada, and unlimited talk and text from the US to Mexico and Canada. You don't need to trade in a device to get started, although each annual upgrade requires you to give back the old iPhone.

If you prefer the iPhone 15 Plus, you can get a similar offer with the Infinite Access plan, but you'll pay just under $3 a month. The Pro will be just under $5 per month and the Pro Max just over $10 a month.

Although Mint Mobile doesn't currently have any discounts on the base price, if you get an iPhone 15 Pro, Pro Max or Plus and sign up for one year of wireless service, you'll a 50% discount on the service at checkout.

Although Consumer Cellular doesn't have any direct discounts, you can get up to $700 trade-in credit on the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, Pro or Pro Max. Currently, all makes and models are in stock but they aren't unlocked. Consumer Cellular has plans starting at $20 a month.
