CNET News Video: WWDC keynote highlights thinner MacBook Pro, iOS Facebook integration

The annual Worldwide Developers Conference keynote today couldn't possibly replicate Steve Jobs' signature style, but did offer its fair share of announcements: New souped-up MacBook Pros boast Retina Displays. The Maps app goes head to head with Google. And iOS gets Facebook integration.

-- -- Hello and welcome to WW DC the opening act for Apple's 23 worldwide developers conference in San Francisco. Theories at this first conference and Steve Jobs death -- personal assistant plant into a tough crowd I was asked to warm up the crowd. Which should be easy since the high will be 75 degrees. Us attendees didn't travel from sixty different countries and one liners now. Felt as expected Apple also delivered plenty on the product and features front and -- hardware is a sure crowd pleaser. Under the black -- this time the next generation MacBook so would you like to see the next generation MacBook Pro. -- -- -- -- The new MacBook with Retina Display is less than three quarters of an inch thick. He dumps the standard optical drive but includes HDMI and faster USB three point oh and thunderbolt ports there wasn't enough time to go over all 200 new features in IOS six. -- stuck with the standouts posting to FaceBook will be easier with reader website and app integration and -- Siri -- -- its usefulness by pulling sports stats from Yahoo! and sending users to open table when their hunting for restaurants and a new maps app replaces the ever popular Google version. It's got things like three -- -- it's got driving directions. -- these are some things Android users have been enjoying for quite -- while fans and developers may miss seeing Steve Jobs at this conference.
