What's free on Xbox and PlayStation: June 2015
Hey everyone.
I'm Jeff Bakalar and it is June, which means there's a brand new list of free games available on PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold.
Let's start things off with PlayStation Plus members.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be free this month, the perfect appetizer for the Phantom Pain, which is gonna hit later this year.
Playstation 4 owners will also get turn-based strategy game, Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-A-Fide Edition.
You'll also find two games arriving for the PS4/Vita, and that's Super Exploding Zoo, and the retro-inspired shooter, Futuridium EP Deluxe For PS3 owners, plus members will get Cloudberry Kingdom, and my best of pick for all of the Playstation Plus titles this month.
It's the first person, old west shooter, Call of Jaurez: Gunslinger.
I love that game.
Alright, lets switch gears to the Xbox One and 360.
First on Xbox One, gold members will get access o Massive Chalice.
The new turn base strategy game from Double Fine Productions, and once again, for the 80th time in a row, Pool Nation FX, which I feel like that game has been free since gold started.
Anyway, on the Xbox 360, the fantastic open world over-the-top action game, Just Cause 2, Will be available in June through the 15th.
Then on the 16th, 360 owners will be able to download the superbly underwhelming Thief for free.
That does it for June.
As always, small caveat.
You do, of course, need to be a member of PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold to access these free games.
Those memberships do cost money, but as you can see, it's mostly worth it.
That's gonna do it for me in June.
We'll be back in July with a brand new list of games.
We'll ee you then.
