Wearables that track your kids
[MUSIC]
The beloved guardian is a simple tracking device that is compatible with an Android or iPhone app.
You set the boundaries through the app while your child wears a small tracker on their wrist.
If he crosses the boundary, you'll be notified.
The range is only 60 meters from your phone, but the Guard In only costs 40 bucks and there's no monthly service fee.
The Flip is a watch that can make and receive calls.
It can also transmit a wares location to a caretaker who has downloaded a partner app.
The Flip costs $150 and requires a $10 a month service plan to use.
The $125 Amber Alert GPS device works in a very similar fashion, but is clipped on to a child's clothing, or worn around the neck.
It also pings location data to a paired cell phone app every five minutes.
Monthly plans start at $15.
And finally in China, concerned parents can purchase a 361 Smart Shoe.
It looks like a regular kids sneaker, but the heel is embedded with a tracker that will show your child's whereabouts on a map.
No word on pricing or if they'll make their way stateside.
