>> Hi, I'm Rich Brown, Senior Editor for CNET.com. Today were going to take a look at the Velocity Micro Raptor Signature Addition. This is the most expensive PC in the Velocity Micros line up. The reason is because it's built by Velocity Micros R and D team and sound by company's CEO Randy Copland. You're going to have to pay for all that of course, the starting price for this system is over 7000 dollars so it's a little bit ridiculous. Now on the front panel, you will see that the system has two DVD burners, one of them actually has light scribe capabilities. It also has this front panel audio plate from Creative. It hooks into the sound card, lets you connect pretty much any audio, external audio device you want. It also had enough standard media card reader so you can move data back in forth between digital cameras, mobile phones and other hand held devices. Inside though is where the system really shines. Now without even naming the parts, you can that this system is fully loaded. Velocity threw in an Intel quad core processor over clocked of course. It's got 2 gigabytes of memory and there is room for 2 gigs more. It also has 2 G force 8800 GTX graphic cards. With this system, you're going to be able to play any game on the market as well as pretty much any game coming out down the road. You should be able to dial up the resolution as hot as you want, turn on all the image quality settings. Over here, you have four 10 K 150 gigabyte hard drives. Velocity sweetened the pot with this raid card right here. That gives you even better hard drive data access and in general speeds up performance. We really saw boosts on our multitasking test in particular. This system has Velocity's typical high level of craftsmanship. Everything is secured nice and tight, nice clean airflow throughout the system. You can tell it was put together with care. Once we turn the system on you can pretty much hear our one big gripe about this system, there is a fan on the back that is really loud. There are other PCs out there that are over clocked just as high and they don't make anywhere near as much noise as this one. But if you can get over the noisy fan and you an extra 7000 dollars lying around, you will be pretty pleased with this system. So I'm Rich Brown and that's the Velocity Micro Raptor Signature Addition.
