One of the most practical ways to use Amazon Echo right now is as a music player.
As long as you're a Prime member, you have free access to a huge library of music and for everyone there's also iHeartRadio and tunein.
You might already know that playing a song or album is as easy as requesting it.
But if you want Alexa to choose your music you can just ask her.
Like this.

Alexa, stop.
Now, if you have your phone handy, head over to the Amazon Echo app and you'll see the album art show up in the home feed.
Tap it, and you'll have a few options.
First of all, you can control the music using the app instead of using voice commands.

In the next tab, you can view the list of songs coming up in the playlist and if you tap one, it will start playing that song.
And finally in the History tab, you can view all the songs that recently played and you'll see more options like creating a new station for that song.
Don't forget that you can go beyond Prime music.

But hopefully we'll see more things like Spotify and Pandora as Alexa grows up.
