CNET News Video: Tech Minute: Tech toys for your holiday wish list

1:06 /

Every holiday season, it's fun to give and get high-tech gifts. And the product manufacturers are no dummies. They release the hottest gadgets in the final few months of the year, making it so easy to build a wish list of the latest and greatest gear on the market. In this Tech Minute, CNET's Kara Tsuboi reports on three items on her list.

-Since I love adventure travel, I'm always looking for gadgets that can take a beating, like the GoPro HERO3 wearable HD video camera, mounted on your surfboard, bike, glider, and capture incredible still and video images. This Wi-Fi enabled versatile beauty clocks in at $399. There are so many occasions when I wish I had a portable speaker for my phone or tablet whether it's for playing tunes at parties or ambient music when I'm relaxing outside. For 60 bucks, JBL Micro Wireless lightweight speaker offers clear sound for up to five hours with its rechargeable battery. Hello stocking stuffer. Finally, I need a place to stash all of my cool new toys into the Timbuk2 Power Commute, a durable messenger bag that not only looks good but was smartly designed with the tech lover in mind. This $200 bag that is TSA compliant has compartments for all of your gear. It also comes with its own charging brick that can power your gadgets on the go all day long. In San Francisco, I'm Kara Tsuboi, CNET.com for CBS News.
