Snap Groups and Snap Layouts Make Messy Desktops a Thing of the Past

Speaker 1: When I've got a lot of work to do, my screen is absolute chaos. I'm talking windows open everywhere, and don't even get me started on the number of tabs that are open in those windows.
Speaker 1: No matter how many times I tell myself that there's a method to my madness. I know that I'm just one click away from losing up everything. Instead of wasting my time manually arranging all my windows, like some kind of conspiracy wall. I can use snap groups and snap layouts and windows 11 snap [00:00:30] layouts lets you arrange different layouts on the screen and it saves it. So you won't forget how you have things set up. This is probably one of my favorite windows, 11 features it's helpful and it's easy to set up, to get started with snap layouts, open a new window. You'll see a button that looks like a square in the top right corner. When you hover your mouse over that button, you'll see different layout options. You can also press the windows button and Z on your keyboard to open snap layout options, choose which layout works best for you [00:01:00] and drop your windows in like a puzzle.
Speaker 1: Snap layouts also supports backgrounds scrolling. So you don't have to click between windows. I personally found it easier to set up snap layouts with the keyboard instead of dragging and dropping with your mouse, you can press the windows key and the up down left and right arrows for the same effect as if snap layouts weren't great enough windows are 11. Also has snap groups, a set of open windows that saved in snap layouts that you can easily find in the task bar to [00:01:30] minimize or maximize just hover your mouse over the browser icon and choose which group you want.
