>> Do you miss the mini disk? If so, then the SanDisk Sansa slotMusic Player might be just the thing you're after. I'm Jasmine France and I'm here with a very unusual MP3 player. This is actually kind of a throw back to the original walkman. There is no internal memory on this MP3 player, instead, you have these microSD cards that you slip into the side here and those microSD cards specifically are called slotMusic cards and what they are is albums that artists put out on a card on a 1-gigabyte memory card that you put into the player and then it just plays back just like you would a cassette tape or original audio CD that goes straight in album order and that's pretty much the jest of it and it is a very inexpensive player. It only cost 20 bucks. So this is something that you might wanna look at if you're getting somebody into the digital age that are still not switched over from CDs and you wanna get them on an MP3 player. This kind of makes that transition. You don't even need a computer to use it. In fact there is no USB port on here. Instead you get a little USB adapter that allows you to put the card directly in to your computer if you want, but if you don't have a computer, you don't need one. It has a AAA battery inside, so you just replace it that way, so it's not a rechargeable on it. It's usually replaceable. Very, very simple user interface. No screen, just Play, Pause, Track, Swivel, Cues, Volume here on the side. You have the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack here as well and it does come with headphones, so for 20 bucks and this little thing and you have this removable exterior here that can be replaced with optional accessories. SanDisk also offers some other worthwhile things if you're gonna get the slotMusic Cards you have this little card-carrying case, which really comes in handy because these cards are tiny. So they're a lot smaller than a CD or a cassette which is one of the concerns I had, but luckily you have accessories like this and you can have the card right inside in their package just like a little mini CD and when you see them in the store they'll look like a CD case, so it really is to help ease that transition. This is not for the experienced MP3 user. It's not for somebody who wants a lot of features. This is for very basic music playback straight out album order, no shuffle, no extra features, no confusion basically. I'm Jasmine France and this has been the SanDisk Sansa slotMusic Player.
