First Look: Samsung Gear Live goes live with Android Wear

0:42 /

CNET's Scott Stein shows off Samsung's first smartwatch running Google's Android Wear software. The Gear Live can connect to the Internet and measure your heart rate, among other things.

I'm Scott Stein here at Google IO. And this is frist look at the Samsung Gear Live. It will be available July 7th, and it's kinda built like the Gear Two but it's a Android Wear Smartwatch. With a design that is a metal outside, band that is a little different, more like a gear fit. It doesn't have the same watch buckle, punches in on the side here. And it's showing set loop to show for work functionality is, it's going to be available for order today. And this is a very first that we've seen of it, has a nice look and it is very much like putting Android wear, onto a gear and keep an eye on the heart rate monitor on the back interesting. I'm Scott Simehre with the Samsung here live at Google IO [MUSIC]
