Panasonic's Lumix FZ300 is much more than its 24x f2.8 zoom lens

[MUSIC] Point-and-shoot sales may be shrinking but super-zoom cameras are still popular. The problem is, most of them are terrible indoors or in low light because they start with a small aperture that only gets Smaller when you zoom in, and that equals less light which can lead to blurry, soft and noisy photos. Panasonic's FZ300 is an exception starting with the big F 2.8 aperture that stays that size through it's zoom range, helping keep that blur and noise in check. But the lens is just the start of what makes this camera so good. It's back to focus and shoot, it has a great electronic view finder and a flip out touch screen. A hot shoe and a mic jack. It shoots in JPG and raw and captures excellent 4k video that you can grab still from. It even does this cool thing that let's you take your focus point after you shoot. Okay, the feature set might be a little overwhelming for some, But for others it'll be a camera that satisfies their creativity while also being a simple fully automatic toy machine. Plus it's wrapped up in a weather resistant body and that's why despite its $500 price tag the ST300 is worth taking out. [MUSIC]
